  • Where do I access the exam timetable?
    The current exam timetables can be found by clicking on: Exam TImetable. Timetables are categorized under Schools, followed by the examination type (Final/Reit/Supplementary/Make-Up/Special Resit) When accessing the exam timetable, please ensure to read carefully the examination details and note the cover note at the bottom of the exam timetable
  • How is the examination timetable produced?
    Examination timetables are produced within constraints dictated by room sizes, campuses, and a commitment to no more than two examinations per day and the avoidance of consecutive examinations within a day where possible
  • When will my exam timetable be available?
    The examination timetable (first draft, second draft and final version) for each semester will be available approximately from week 9 - 14 for the long semester and from week 5 - 8 for the short semester. You can also refer to the timetable release dates
  • An exam is missing from my exam timetable, what should I do?"
    If the subjects shown on your exam timetable are inaccurate/missing in any way, you must immediately contact the examination officer at _iics.eo@newinti.edu.my
  • I'm a resit student. Which timetable do I refer to?
    All resit students are to refer to the resit timetable as resit venues are different from the final exam venues. Entering the wrong exam venue may lead to students being asked to go to the right venue but no extra time is given
  • Why do I have 2 examinations in one day?
    The logistic difficulty of scheduling a number of examinations, involving many hundreds of students to take place in a limited number of days makes it inevitable that some students will have two examinations on the same day. Therefore this is a normal practice
  • I only have 2 examinations - why are these on the same day?

  • Why do I have examinations on consecutive days?

  • What do I do if i have 2 examinations at the same time and date?
    Please fill up the EO-02 Final and Resit Timetable Clash form and email it to _iics.eo@newinti.edu.my immediately. Exam Office staff will either try to reschedule the exam dates or you will be quarantined
  • What does Quarantine mean? What are the Quarantine rules?
    Quarantine happens when a student has 2 subjects scheduled at the same time and date and Exam Office is unable to reschedule the exams to an alternative date. Student will need to drop by Exam Office to collect the quarantine timetable and sign on a declaration form. If the student has not received any calls/emails from the Exam Office staff, student will need to drop by Exam Office to check with us on the matter ​ All quarantine student are required to STRICTLY comply to the quarantine rules: Have to sit for the exam in an alternative venue (as given by Exam Office staff) Have to stay in the same venue (under supervision) during the break Are allowed to study during the break between exams Are allowed to go to the washroom accompanied by the Room Chief Are not allowed to use any electronical devices Failure to do so may lead to students being disqualified from the examination
  • I have an entitlement to extra time in my examinations, but this is not showing in my exam timetable. What should I do?"
    If you are entitled to an extra time allowance, please drop by Exam Office to inform us A separate timetable (with a different venue) will be given to you by the Exam Officer. Do contact us if 1 week before the final examination week if you have yet to receive your personalized timetable
  • What should I do if I have already booked a flight ticket and it clashes with the final examination week?
    Chances will be that students will either need to miss the final examination (and receive a fail grade) or to reschedule their flight/bus tickets As such, students are always encouraged to book any flight/bus tickets only after the end of the final examination week. If students would need to book the tickets before the end of the examination week, then students are encouraged to refer to Exam Office staff prior to the booking
  • Where do I find directions to the exam venues?
    You can refer to the Gallery for directions to the exam venues
  • Can the venue of my exam change?
    Examination venues are released in the FINAL version of the exam timetable. The venue is unlikely to change unless due to unavoidable reason. If so, the change will be informed to students via email
  • What if I have not brought my INTI student ID for the examination?
    You can use your driving licence, passport or NRIC. However, if you have not brought any of these, you will need to report to the Exam Office where you will be given an examination slip
  • What am I allowed to bring to my exams?
    Please refer to exam guidelines
  • I have lost my matriculation card. What should I do?
    If you have lost your ID card, please check with the Student Services Department. If it is not with them or any where around the campus, then you can request for a new ID card from the OAR Department If it is not possible for you to obtain a new matriculation card before your next exam, the College will accept a driving licence or passport as photo identification
  • I have missed my final exam as I was not feeling well. When should I submit my MC and to whom should I submit it?
    All MC's are to be submitted to Exam Office 72 hours from the examination date. All MC's submitted are subject to approval
  • When will my results be released?
    For all results release dates, please refer to the notification of results. The release dates are based on sessions and programmes and will be released approxiametly 2 weeks before the final examination week
  • How can I get my exam results?
    Exam results are released online via student email, except for the University of Hertfordshire (UH) programme. UH programme, students will need to drop by Exam Office to collect the hardcopy of their semester grade report.
  • Im an UH student, can i know if I have passed or failed my subjects?"
    Students can refer to their Head of Program (in the first week of the new session) to enquire on their provisional exam results
  • Why I have not received my grade report whereas my friends have received it?
    This could be due to any outstanding payments with the Finance Office, or you may be facing some technical issues. If you are facing any technical issues, please do contact the IT Department
  • Im unhappy with my grades. What can I do?
    Students can request for a review of grades to be done for their exam scripts. Students will need to fill up the EO-012 Request for Review of Answer Script form, make a payment of RM50 (depending on which component to be reviewed) and submit the form along with the receipt to Exams Office All review's have a deadline that needs to be followed. Any request for review after the deadline will not be accepted
  • I have not scored well in my final examinations. Can i know what marks did I receive?
    Exams Office do not practise the releasing of marks to students
  • Can resit exam scripts be reviewed?
    Yes, resit exam scripts can be reviewed. However, special resit exam scripts are not entitle for review
  • I have submitted a review for one of my exam script, can i know who will be marking the exam script?"
    For confidentiality reasons, Exams Office do not inform to the students on who is marking the exam script. However, we do inform the students that it will not be the same lecturer that has marked their scripts previously
  • What is a Special Resit examination?
    Special Resit examinations are for students that have received a "X" grade (MC or appeal for extenueating circumstances) and "C-" grade (for graduating students ONLY). Special Resit examinations are usually held at the 2nd week of the following semester and the timetable is available in the 1st week
  • When will I receive my special resit examination results?
    Special Resit examination results are released approximately 1 week after the examinatios.
  • I have received an 'X' grade for one of my subjects. What does that mean? What do I do?
    An "X" grade is a temporary grade given to students who have submitted an MC or an appeal. This means that you are entitled for a special resit examination which will be scheduled in the 2nd week of the following session. Do refer to the special resit timetable which will be posted by Week 1
  • When are the resit results released? Where do I check for my resit result?
    Resit results are released approximately 1 week after the release of final results. You can check for your resit result in the student email. The resit result will be under the failed session
  • What does RP and RF mean?
    RP and RF are resit grades, which respectively mean "RESIT PASS" and "RESIT FAIL".
  • What does a "C-", "D", "F" grade mean?"
    A "C-" grade refers to RESIT, while a "D" and an "F" grade refer to RETAKE (this grading is only applicable to INTI homegrown programmes and MP courses)
  • I have received a C- grade, but I do not want to resit the exam? What should I do?"
    You should inform your Head of Programme that you do not want to resit for that paper. The Head of Programme will then remove your name from the resit list. However, if you do not inform your Head of Programme, then Exam Office will continue to bill you for the resit fees, although you have not attempted the exam
  • When and where can I collect my resit invoice? How much do I pay and where do I pay?
    Resit invoice is available at Exam Office from Week 3 and 6 onwards (for short and long semesters respectively). The amount will be stated on the invoice. Please collect the invoice and proceed to Finance Office for payment
  • I am a UH student. Can I know what is my CGPA?
    The CGPA system is not applicable for the UH programme. Student's performances are determined by the AVERAGE (AVG) system
  • Can I know what is my Classification?
    Classification's are only applicable to the UH programme students. All final year students can refer to their respective Head of Programmes to know their classification
  • Where do I find past exam papers?
    Past exam papers can be accessed via EXAMODAS Please note that Multiple Choice Question exam papers are not uploaded
  • Once I have completed my studies, could I request for all of my semester grade reports to be printed?"
    It is advisable for all students that have completed their studies, to apply for a transcript A transcript is an official document that records the academic progress of a student for the entire years of study at INTI. As semester grade reports aren't official, it is not advisable for students to use it for job applicatios, further studies, etc. Students can either request for a full or a partial transcript from the OAR Department
  • Where do I collect my transcript from?
    Transcripts are to be collected from the OAR Department
  • Where do I collect my letter of completion from?
    Letter of completion letter could be collected from the OAR Department
  • I would like to provide feedback on the examinations process. Who should I send this to?
    The examinations office strives to provide you with the best possible exam experience.
